About Misa

Hi, I'm Michael, and I make guitar-like instruments that talk to synthesizers. Misa started over a decade ago because I heard some electronic music that sounded like a synthesizer version of heavy metal and I couldn’t stop thinking, what if a guitar could do that? (The exact song that I was listening to was 'Justice - Waters of Nazareth (Erol Alkan Remix)'.)

Misa digital guitars are the culmination of years of experimentation and every lesson learned along the way. I'm excited to be able to produce digital guitars that smash boundaries and rewire what we think about sound and performance.
