Up until now I've been demonstrating the basic capabilities of the new Misa Quadwave digital guitar. But this video is showing some of the more advanced setup possibilities.

At the start, I am playing the bassline to the track "Psy or Die" by Carnage / Timmy Trumpet. The bassline sound is coming from the top string.

Then, I mix between two kicks. When I press on the top half of the pad, I get a heavy kick, and when I press on the bottom half of the pad, I get a kick with a muted attack. Alternating between these two kicks creates that "bounce" sound.

What's important about the kicks I've chosen is that they have long tails. This is necessary for the last part.

The most interesting part of the video is the breakdown at the end. Here I am again switching between two kicks, but this time mixing between them, allowing the tail ends of the kicks to color the sound. The mixing happens as I drag from the bottom half to the top half of touchpad.

It creates a type of digital heavy metal sound in my mind.
