Say hello to the Misa Quadwave, the next evolution in digital guitar design. A fusion of the best parts of its predecessors - the Kitara’s body and the Tri-bass’s touch-sensitive neck - but with its own bold identity. This isn’t just an upgrade; it’s a whole new mindset.
At its core is a low-latency X/Y touchpad that’s all about precision and control. No screens, no distractions - just raw interaction. Use it to bend, glide, and modulate sound. It has a 4 string neck with recessed string channels - perfect for smooth synth glides that feel as good as they sound.
The Quadwave doesn’t clutter your setup - it connects via class-compliant USB MIDI (USB-C). No adapters, no proprietary stuff. Plug it straight into your laptop and it’s ready to roll. And yeah, it's meant to be plugged into a computer.
The Quadwave is designed for monophonic synth lovers, where a single note can be massive, textured, and sonically rich. And where gliding is a significant part of the sound. It's monophonic by default, meaning it plays only one note at a time per MIDI channel. This ensures smooth note transitions, hammer-ons, and glides characteristic of a monophonic synth.
But when you want more, you can configure its strings to output on separate MIDI channels, opening up polyphonic layering. Hold notes, glide between them, stack textures - it’s all in your control.
