Quadwave firmware v2.6.0 has landed, delivering the number one requested feature from our community - along with a handy visual upgrade.

1. Strum Mode
Press five fingers on the touchpad and slide downward to enable Strum Mode. LED 1 will glow blue, and the touchpad splits into four horizontal segments - one for each string.

In this mode, tapping a segment will either:

  • play the note pressed on the neck, or

  • trigger the open string if no note is held.

This experimental mode is designed for firing off open-string patterns and heavy, riff-like textures. It’s not a replacement for real strings - and it isn’t trying to be. Instead, it’s a new creative tool that invites you to explore ideas that only the Quadwave can deliver.

2. Raw Mode LED Indicator
When Raw Mode is active and nothing is pressed, LED 1 now glows red. As soon as you touch the neck or pad, it switches to the usual mode color - so you always know exactly what you're settings are.

Grab firmware v2.6.0 from the Downloads Page and start exploring! And thank you for being part of the Misa community!
