Quadwave Firmware Update v2.2.1 Is Here!
We’re excited to announce that firmware version 2.2.1 for the Misa Quadwave has just been released.
Below are the highlights of what’s included in this update:
1. MacOS Bug Fix: Unresponsive Controls When DAW Isn’t Open
We’ve fixed an issue where the Quadwave’s controls could become unresponsive on MacOS if your digital audio workstation (DAW) wasn’t active. Now, even if you’re just noodling around in a blank project or using another program, your Quadwave will maintain reliable control input on MacOS.
2. Stopping Incorrect Pitch Bend Jumps
This release tightens up pitch bend accuracy so your glides and slides remain smooth and expressive even when momentarily lifting a finger from the pad.
3. Tap Mode LED Switch to Green
We’ve updated the Tap Mode indicator from red to green, providing a clearer, more intuitive color distinction.
4. Prevent Config Changes Mid-Performance
Previously, pressing all five fingers on the touchpad could switch configurations even if you were in the middle of a performance. With v2.2.1, the Quadwave will ignore 5-finger taps while notes are playing, so you won’t accidentally interrupt your set with an unexpected preset or tuning change.
