Misa Quadwave firmware v2.4.0 has landed, and with it comes RAW MODE - a powerful new way to take control of your Quadwave like never before.

If you’ve been pushing the boundaries of what’s musically possible with the Quadwave, get ready - this firmware update unlocks a completely new mode that opens up deeper creative control than ever before. This is not just an enhancement - it's a whole new way to experiment, build, and interact with your Quadwave. It's designed for engineers, artists and tinkerers who want to go beyond presets and typical MIDI workflows.

By enabling Raw Mode and pairing it with our open-source Quadwave Bridge (on Github), you’ll gain direct, low-level access to real-time sensor data from the fretboard and touchpad. It’s more than MIDI - it’s a portal into the instrument’s inner workings.

Perfect for artists, developers, and experimenters, Raw Mode lets you:

• Program custom performance behaviors in Python

• Map the Quadwave to visuals, lighting, or anything you can imagine

To enable Raw Mode: Press and hold the highest fret on all four strings for ~3 seconds. LEDs will blink rapidly - you're in.
