We’ve just dropped Quadwave firmware v2.5.0, and it’s a game-changer. Your touchpad just got a serious upgrade - it’s gone 3D!

In addition to left-right and up-down control, there’s now a third dimension: velocity. It adds dynamic expression to every note you play.

What’s velocity? It’s how loud or intense a note sounds - like striking a piano key softly or hard. On the Quadwave, velocity isn’t pressure-based - it’s all about how much of your finger makes contact. A light, narrow tap triggers a soft note. A fuller, broader touch gives you more power and volume.

This means more expression, more control, and a playing experience that feels even more responsive and alive.

You can download the new firmware from the Downloads Page.

Thanks for being part of the Misa community. This is just one more step in the evolution of Quadwave - and there’s a lot more coming.
